Has it been awhile since you’ve been on your bike?  Is it gathering dust in the garage?  You’re not alone, it happens to the best of us!  So, move your body and get back on your bike!

Yes, the hardest part is to start and to start AGAIN!

When you get back on, you might be a little awkward at first, not too smooth but your body will remember quick. I went out recently after a couple of months and I felt a little apprehensive.  It takes a few rides to feel the flow again. The bike has always been a joyful piece of freedom for most of us, let’s get back on and riding again!

It’s true, once we learn how to ride a bike, we never forget.  I know, it’s a whole lot easier to be sedentary and stay in front of your computer, but getting out in the day while moving your body will feel amazing to every system in your body.  Your blood, you psyche, all the feel good hormones, your muscles and tendons, etc.  The list goes on and on so do something healthy and happy and ride your bike.

Think about it long enough to get you on the bike but don’t think about it too long to talk yourself out of it!  It happens a lot, that why the Nike slogan, “JUST DO IT” is one of the best of all time!


Oh, and don’t be fooled if your tires are flat.  Don’t think you need to get them fixed, they just need air!  This is a relief if you don’t know how to change a flat. The air pressure escapes as more time goes by, it’s okay just pump them up!
